Rick Fass: Guitar

Rick, born in St. Petersburg, Florida, raised in Brooklyn, N.Y.,
has been playing Guitar for over 46 years. Early in his music
career he was signed with Columbia Records. In addition, he
has attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. He toured
with a Boston based Show Band and eventually came back to
the Florida West Coast in 1975. He has been living in
Bradenton since 1975 playing with many different musicians,
vocalists, and bands in the Sarasota-Bradenton area including:
Saxophonist Tom Scott (L.A.Express), guitarist Bill Kirchen
(Commander Cody), actor Gary Busey, Female Tribute band
Lez Zepplin, Vocalist Bonnie Bramlett, Greg Allman, Omni,
Entertainer Tim Chandler, Guitarist ‘Howlin” Bob Fieberts,
Entertainer Rob Satori, Percussionist Scott Blum, The James
Peterson Blues Band, The Del Rays, the Blues Injectors, Rhino
and Doss, Coco Ray, The Tongue n Groove Band, Natural
Vibes, The Billy Rice Band, Dr. Dave Band, Tammy Hatch
Band, The Wheedles, Janine Scott, Shaman, The Henry
Lawrence Band, Doc and B.C., Errol Wise and Friends, Jennifer
and the New Digs, The Ventura’s, Twinkle, Sarasota Soul
Sensations, The Gumbo Boogie Band, Lester Freeman and “D”
Band, Melanie Massell and Hot Item, and blues great, Jessie
Yawn. He has played at the Center for Positive Living in
Sarasota, Robarts Arena, Sarasota, Hyatt Sarasota, Manatee
County Arts Council, Longboat Key Art Center, The Cortez
Kitchen, Aces Lounge, Woodys’River Roo, Cork’s Cigar Bar,
D Coy Ducks, Holmes Beach, Pelican Petes’s, Sarasota Ritz
Carlton, Venice Yacht Club, Sarasota Yacht Club. He is a guitar
and music teacher as well as a guitar and amp tech and sound
man.
